Although well-known for their soulful d & b offerings, London Elektricity have also been doing a fine line in down tempo material.

The original of this tune is one of those mellower moments - a rolling, jazzed up slice of mid-tempo breakbeat. However, the duo have chosen to turn the track into Ram stalwarts Origin Unknown for the remix treatment and the results are quite wonderful.

The vocal mix is an exceptional drum & bass effort which has kept hold of much of the original jazz-funk flavour while ading a touch of their own distinctive beatwork and mellowing out their usual ruff bassline action.

The VIP mix sees them get a bit heavier and produce a rawer, club-edged version. Already being caned by a variety of top-jocks this is definitely an essential cut.
