Much has been made recently of the inability of most British bands to cut the mustard anymore when it comes to the American charts. The Yank's perverse taking to their fat bosom of Radiohead aside, no rock band in what seems like 300 years has found itself perched proudly at the very top of the sales tree.

That some cultural commentators persist in scratching their heads over this enigma is beyond me. The simple fact is we just don't do dumb that well over here. We just don't make the grade when it comes to playing the moron, we don't share America's easy way with the remedial. For bands like Limp Bizkit, Blink 182 and The Offspring though it's second nature, it's in their fucking blood.

'Original Prankster' is another soggy slice of cold, tantrum & cheese pizza that actually delights in shouting 'it smells like shit' in our face whilst jumping up and down on it's unmade bed. If you like this record then you're an idiot. It really is that straightforward.
