On a voyage into vocal ballad territory, the king of the fat beats meets husky voiced Ms Gray. Taken from the 'Halfway Between The Gutter and The Stars' LP, Macy's wonderfully distinctive vocals carry the sometimes awkward beats.

Although the track may attempt to show a certain "maturity," it's not particularly adventurous and lacks spark.

The Stanton Warriors find whatever is missing from the original and their mix really brings the track to life. They break it up with class, and the result is glorious. Their unique style incorporates a finely-tuned subtlety, working the bassline to the max without allowing it to become overbearing, and lending a Latin edge to the razor sharp beats.

Well worth seeking out, as it's certainly one of the better mixes of the year so far.
