Nelly, as we all know by now after his recent 'Country Grammar' hit, has a way of writing irresistibly catchy tunes.

'E.I'. means 'Yeah, Bring It On' according to the rapper, though perhaps that's only in his local St Louis community.

Here, it sounds more like a convenient phrase to insert into yet another overtly infectious hook. As an insouciant riff carries the beats forward, Nelly proceeds to flow in his idiosyncratic staccato way until reaching the chorus where the cut leans into a right old sing-a-long.

It's a sure-fire way to keep arms waving in the air and the pop critics persuaded of his talents.
