This a bad tune. A baaaaaaaaad tune. And not bad meaning 'bad' either.
Genius Cru are an ongoing testament to the fact that 2Step is the new jungle. Regardless of the fact that one of their five members Capone - used to be a drum 'n' bass head, Genius Cru sound like they've been out raving 'for time.'
Why else would the 'Bullet Proof Dub' of 'Boom Selection' sound like bombs dropping on Metalheadz? It's half Dillinja, half some sub-aquatic space-funk and it's got sonar bleeps to boot. And you just can't go wrong with bleeps.
This tune might be massive on the pirate stations, originate on Scott 'London Thing' Garcia's label and be played by every garage DJ from EZ to Oxide, but you should always leave it to the music to do the talking:
'It's time for action/Boom boom boom selection!'
