Anyone who remembers Si Firmin's GOD bootlegs of old should hunt this double-header down immediately.

On the hot buttered side, 'The Chant' is a terrific whirling dervish fired by the bass and rhythm guitar's fat, filtered funk.

Add more strings than you get in small print, more phasing than a Star Trek out-take and the sort of horn dynamic that characterises my Mum and Dad's carnival record and you've got the recipe for a right royal knees-up.

Flip it and 'Is Everybody Ready' dives whole-heartedly into bouncing a disco ball above your head with the aid of a fantastically elastic bass line and rolling, steamy beats.
