Radio 1 A-list, it's lodged in the brain already, it's gonna haunt us all summer...arghh, I can hear it as the anthem of Portobello market on a Saturday. Hook horror.
So despite the fact that we're close to hating it already, we actually love it.
We love its retro-Portishead/Daft Punkness; we love the fact that the All Seeing I man is still capable of pulling a blinder; we love the artwork; we love the lyrics, y'know them already,
"BABY, I fell asleep in the flowers for a couple of hours, such a beautiful day!" And there's the token vocoder, no review could be written without reference to it. Blinding.
The B-side's okay too. A Human League, mode de la moment, Gazza Numan-type track called 'Resistance is Futile'. There's also a weird-hop remix of 'Daydream'. Annoyingly brilliant.
